Elleda Beauty Vitamin C Serum... Hit or Miss?

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOPdc3c6d37d94cf410366928ca4d5afbc5" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
Elleda Vitamin C Serum... hit or miss? Whelp it's a definite... HIT! Okay first off y'all should know if you haven't read any of my past posts that I try a lot of serums. I'm most in love with Vitamin C Serums and let me tell you, they all most certainly aren't created equal. All aren't bad, but there surely are duds out there. Some aren't great, but they get the job done. And some others, well... they're awesome. And without a doubt this one is is one of the awesome ones!
Vitamin C serums are great for your skin. As you age your body produces less collagen at a slower rate. Eventually this causes fine lines, and wrinkles. Vitamin C serums help rebuild collagen, thus giving you plumper, younger looking skin. Reduces sun spots, can help repair skin, and offers a little natural sun protection. Also it helps deal with inflammation, and reduces post breakout red marks. It really is great for your skin!
This serum feels great, absorbing easily with a non sticky feel. It's not thick, more watery but spreads quickly before absorbing. So you don't have to use a lot. I've been using this serum for a little while and I can happily say no breakouts, or peeling. I haven't experienced any redness which sometimes happens As far as my skin goes. So overall I'm very happy with this serum. I'm seeing nothing but great skin! This one is priced well under 20 bucks. But there's no saying how long that will last so you definitely want to move quick on this one!

What In The World Is Skleer?!

I think we all would like beautiful skin.   Wouldn't you agree? Sometimes though that can be very difficult. I'm not talking about just our face either. I'm talking all over the body. Keeping your skin free of problems can be a daunting task. Rubbing all types of products into your skin, taking supplements and such. Well, Skleer doesn't (and what REALLY could?) but it certainly covers a lot in one step. Which just so happens to be my kind of thing because after pampering my face with cleansers, serums, and stuff, the last thing I want to do is have to layer more stuff all over my body. Call me lazy, I guess.    Skleer is an all in one skin corrective ointment that assists with a number of skin issues. Like itchy skin from dermatitis or eczema, helps with dry skin, insect bites, burns, abrasions, diaper rash, hives, sunburn and so much more! Skleer has essential oils in it like eucalyptus, and tea tree to name a few. The combination of the oils is what makes it so special, it's what aids the skin.    Skleer contains no parabens, no preservatives, no lanolin, no hydroquinone, no corticosteroids and is not tested on animals. It doesn't have any salicylic acid, glycolic acid, retinoic acid,or  benzoyl peroxide. It's all natural is good for sensitive skin. It's suitable for everyone, even babies and toddlers! So it's great for the entire family.   Now here's my thoughts on it... I like it! While I'll admit I'm not a fan of the whole natural medicinal smell. It did indeed help smooth and help my dry patchy spots of skin. Also it helped my children's eczema, they stopped scratching so much and, and their flare ups weren't nearly as bad. I put on a mosquito bite I was practically digging into and that helped tremendously. So I must say that this one is a keeper in my book. It's something I'd definitely keep inside my diaper bag when on the go! Try it out and let me know y'all thoughts! *Disclaimer I received this product free to try, but ALL opinions expressed are my own*

Amara Organics Retinol Serum? Yes Please!!

If you've read a few of my previous posts you'd know that I love serums. I think they're awesome for the skin, and since you can pretty much layer up to 3 before you apply your moisturizer, you can really mix and match. Amara Organics Retinol Serum is definitely one that I'm loving in my arsenal of beauty products.    This serum comes in a handy pump bottle with an Amber colored glass. Which of course is awesome since you don't want too much light shining on your serum. The pump is great since it's more hygienic than a dropper, and you won't be opening the bottle exposing your serum to air and the stuff floating in it. Plus, it's way easier to get a handle on how much you use at a time when you count pumps. I personally use about a pump and a half at a time which isn't bad since I'm covering my face and neck with it.    I found that it is like a jelly type of serum. However it didn't dry sticky, it spread easily, and absorbed quickly. Retinol is great for increasing cell turnover giving you new younger skin more quickly. It's great for acne, rejuvenating skin, and much more.  I also like that it has Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E. Hyaluronic Acid is a moisturizer more potent than glycerin. And Vitamin E is great for your skin overall. Which makes this serum more like a awesome 3 in 1. Amara Organics Retinol Serum definitely makes a great start as a serum if you're just starting using serums. And a great choice to add to your arsenal if you're already into serums! *Disclaimer I received this product free to try, but ALL opinions expressed are my own*

No More Sleepless Nights Thanks To Maxasorb Melatonin!

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOP19981d03a8fb19d9fa74bfd464d257a6" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
All of us, or at least most of us have had those sleepless nights. Maybe it's because you're excited about something, or stressed about something. Maybe your mind just won't shut off... Whatever it is that keeps you up, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you're STILL up, and that is exactly the opposite of what you need at that very moment. You need sleep, some good rest, and your body is just not going with the program.
That's where Maxasorb Melatonin comes in! Yes, it's a lotion, there's no denying that. But it is a special lotion, and I'll explain why... Melatonin is a hormone made by a small gland in the brain called the pineal gland. Melatonin helps control your sleep and wake cycles. Very small amounts of it are found naturally in foods such as meats, grains, fruits, and vegetables. Melatonin can also be bought as a supplement or cream such as Maxasorb Melatonin.
This lotion comes pre-measured so one pump is a full dose and that is all you need. If you're willing to give melatonin a try and don't like taking supplements this is definitely the way to go! This lotion is nice and creamy and actually does a great job of moisturizing whatever part you're rubbing it in. I used it on my forearms and it rubbed it in easily. It didn't leave a thick layer on my skin like an ointment, and it didn't leave me feeling greasy.
After rubbing it in, in a fit of desperation and hope. It was already pushing 4 am, and my twins would be up very soon which in turn would wake up there older brother. I definitely needed all the sleep I could get as soon as possible! Just a little background, I'm an insomniacs for sure. I could be dead tired and my brain would still be going a hundred miles an hour. I can easily lay down and still be wide awake till the wee hours of the morning.
But back to my story. I rubbed it in, and hoped in bed with my trusty smartphone to keep me company. About 30-40 minutes later, I was calling bullshit. I didn't feel a thing. Not a ounce of drowsiness or anything.  Yes, total bull... or so I thought. I blinked l, and next thing my I know my twins are telling through the baby monitor, the sun is up, and it's a little after 9 a.m.... What the?! So it DEFINITELY worked! I couldn't believe it, I didn't even remember falling asleep! I was refreshed, not groggy or anything like that! I've used it several times since then and the same results every time! If you have a hard time getting to sleep, your brain won't shut up long enough, or whatever, GIVE THIS A TRY!!! You can come back and thank me later! :-)

Everlast Nutrition, Lose Weight and feel great!

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOPa654ecc396fe3dfbca40d6f740d4a2b8" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
I'll admit my stick skinny days are long over. Especially after having 3 kids in two years. But, honestly I wouldn't want to be that small again ever. I think women should have a curves, ya know? Though I do want to lose a few pounds. You know get this body in check. Everlast Nutrition  gave me a nudge in the right direction.
I received free to try a weeks worth of Everlast Nutrition Lean Naturally Flavored Breakfast Shake Mix. It's supposed to help you eat less with Fabuless +15 vitamins and minerals. What's Fabuless, I'm sure you're asking. Well, it's a proprietary formula that is proven to help control your appetite throughout the day.
You're supposed to drink it in the morning as a meal replacement for breakfast. Directions are to use one packet and 8oz of water, and to mix well.
Now here's my thoughts on it. When first trying it, I used water that I had sitting in the freezer a little while. So it was nice and cold. I opened up a packet of the breakfast shake mix, and got the stirring. And was left with a milky mix that had lots of lumps. I ended up getting frustrated trying to get rid of the lumps, and just drank it. It tastes like a mix of fruits mixed in water.... Definitely not a hit. Though I obviously mixed it wrong the first day, it still worked. I wasn't hungry though I just jew I would be because, well, let's be real. It's ONLY 8oz., But it did the trick! I stayed full feeling a good part of the morning. And I wasn't feeling ravenous by the time I ate lunch.
Day 2 I used hot water and it mixed beautifully. I stuck it in the freezer, and tried to wait as long as possible. Which needless to say wasn't to long, so I ended up drinking it Luke warm.... yea... not so good. But again, it worked. Hunger pains or anything.
Day 3 This time I mixed it in hot water the night before and stuck it in the fridge. In the morning it was perfect but a little on the thin side. More like a drink than a shake, but still good. And of course it worked.
Day 4 - 7 I got creative, I froze 7 ounces of water into ice cubes. I then added it a ounce of water to the powder, and poured it into my magic bullet. Yes, yes, I know, why didn't I just use that from the beginning? Well, I wanted to know if a blender of some sort is needed. And to answer that question, IT IS! Anyway I threw those ice cubes in there and it came out nice and shake like. This is by far the best way to make it in my humble opinion. The fruit flavor really came through, and it didn't taste watery or chalky.
Now I didn't way myself, so I can't say how much weight I loss. I knew I lost something though since my pants waistband felt a little looser. And that was only in a week! I didn't change my diet or my level of exercise up at all besides replacing breakfast with the shake. If I were to try the full months worth, which is 4 weeks worth of shakes for breakfast and a pill that you take before eating lunch I'm sure I would have seen an even bigger difference!
Have any of you tried Everlast Nutrition Lean system yet? Y'all thoughts? How much did you weight did you lose? How many dress sizes? Ladies feel free to chime in! And if you haven't tried it, give it a try with this exclusive code you'll only find here:  1EVERLAST360LOVE2TRY

Phytoceramide... The Secret Great Skin From The Inside Out?

I've been on something like a beauty kick for quite a while now. Trying serums and oils, cleansers and stuff of that sort. So when I've heard talk of phytoceramide supplements and the wonders it does for your skin. You just know I had to give it a try! So why try phytoceramide supplements? Well because mostly everyone is born with beautiful plump healthy hydrated skin. And that beautiful healthy hydrated skin is protected by 60% ceramics content in your skin. But as you age you loose that. And what you would normally get from your food is stripped by refining, filtering, and fractionating. So what's a girl to do with the aging and lost collagen? Whelp that's where Healing Oasis Phytoceramides come in!    Healing Oasis Phytoceramides starts restoring your visible glow and improves your complexion in as little as 2-5 weeks! This is one that gives you results fast! These supplements diminish fine lines, shrink pores, fade age spots and reduce  wrinkles. They also improve elasticity and stimulates collagen production. It restores youthful hydration of the skin for silky feel and texture. Perfect for dry, red, rough, itchy or aging skin. This brand is gluten and grain free, so if you're trying to avoid that. This are for you.    Now I've been taking it for about 2 weeks so far and I think I am starting to see a change. I can't say if it's improving my facial skin so far since my facial skin has been doing great overall lately. But, I can speak for the chronic dry patches on my arm. They are there no matter how much I moisturize, and itches like hell. I guess it more like mild eczema? Anyway, that has lessened some, the itching that is. And the patches have gotten a bit smaller. I'm feeling positive about this one guys.   So why not give it a try? It's actually a supplement where they say themselves that you'll see a change in as little as two weeks. Most supplements say it may take up to 3 months to see a result. Which usually results in you having to buy more bottles just to really know if it works. Healing Oasis Phytoceramide Supplements will give you results in just ONE bottle. Making this one budget friendly for sure. Give it a try, and let me know what y'all think.

Nura Natural Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil

Rosehip oil... What is it? What's it good for? Does it work? Many questions, all of them have great answers! Now I'll admit when I was given the great opportunity to review this oil I had no idea exactly what was so great about this Rosehip oil. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised! But more in that a little later. Let's get to what it is exactly.
Rosehip oil is a pressed seed oil which is extracted from the seeds of a wild rose bush, either Sweet Briar, or Eglantine rose.  It is a shrub with apple-scented leaves. The fruit, or “hip” of this plant that contains a seed that is then pressed into rosehip seed oil. Rosehip seed oil is high in the omega-6, omega-3, vitamin A, and vitamin C.
Now here's the what It does: It regenerates tissue and drastically reduces or eliminates wrinkles and fine lines. Fades, and smooths scars, stretch marks, age spots, hyper-pigmentation, and radiation skin damage. Effective in treating dermatitis, brittle nails, psoriasis, eczema, burns, sun damage, and treat dry, damaged hair. It truly is a Jack of all trades and all natural!
Now I'm trying Nura Natural Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil and I'm impressed. I've been using it like a makeup remover and doing just that I see a difference. I smooth it over my face, rubbing away and then l let it sit a moment. Usually that moment is spent grabbing my cleanser and stuff. I then wipe it off using a tissue and it is great at removing my make-up! I then follow up with my cleanser, and my face feels great. No dryness or tightness of the skin whatsoever. I follow up with a little and it absorbs quickly. Doesn't leave a shine as long as you aren't heavy handed with it. There's no need to be either, a little of  Nura Natural Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil And you're good to go. This bottle should last you at least month easy.
Now does it work? Yes it does! Like I said, it's great at removing make-up. It's great to use like a facial serum, just rub a little in and your good. You can't go wrong with that! This natural oil is just as good as some serums I've tried. Doesn't break my skin out, and my face is nice, even and toned. Feels great and is bright. My hyper pigmentation marks are fading. I'm very happy with this one. If you're a minimalist, like your stuff 100% natural, or on a budget, this is definitely worth trying!
Have any if y'all tried Rosehip oil? How'd you like it? What did you use it for? Let me know your thoughts! *Disclaimer I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own*

Argan Oil "Liquid Gold" And My Hair

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOP53060d655caf860cbca7c0af3a27fb32" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
OMG if you don't know the benefits of argan oil for hair, honey your missing out! Argan oil does so much for the hair! I add it to everything so that I can get the all the benefits of Argan oil. You gain all this from adding Argan Oil to your hair care:

Hydrates hair and seals in moisture

Stops fly aways, calms frizz, and makes hair feel more smooth

Penetrates the hair shaft to add elasticity to hair, and nourishes the hair and follicles

Argan oil contains a lot of natural anti-oxidants that will help strengthen the weakened hair strands, so it's great for damaged hair

The vitamin E found in argan oil is also very helpful in treating and repairing damaged hair strands that are due to the effects of environmental factors such as the sun’s rays and pollution.

Adds shine and lustre to hair

Argan oil is also rich in omega 3 and 9 fatty acids that will help in the healing of split ends.

So as you can see the benefits of adding this oil into your hair care regimen are great and totally worth it! I was lucky enough to try GoPure Naturals 100% Pure Argan Oil,and I am ecstatic! This is a great PURE oil packed in a tinted glass bottle with a glass dropper so you don't waste not a bit of the good stuff! It's generously sized in a 4oz bottle and priced under 20 bucks making it quite a steal! My hair is definitely benefiting from it, and I'm seeing less split ends. Which is really saying something since I flat iron a lot! Why buy things that have just a little bit of Argan Oil in it, but tagged with a ridiculous price? Save your money and get the full bang for your buck, and just but the oil PURE! Add it to what you want, do what you want with it! It's great for skin too! The possibilities are truly endless with this one!

Basics Best Reusable Pouches, Save Money!

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOP59b02eab375f23f9dba484e426135831" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
Ahhh toddlers, so cute, so full of energy, eager to learn and roam, never wanting to stay still. So, so cute... And tiring. Especially at meal time. Have you ever tried to feed a toddler when they're in hyper mode? Lol Of COURSE you have! If not, well... excuse me with your perfect child. It sure must be nice. Well in my world feeding can sometimes be a hassle. Which is exactly how I started buying those expensive prefilled food pouches for my toddler. A innovation that changed my life! My son took to it like water, and I was buying them in all varieties. At a 1.50 and up per pouch it was definitely putting a big dent on my wallet. Not to mention my son could inhale 2 in 2.5 seconds easy. This route definitely wasn't a good look for me at all.
Now with his twin younger brothers stepping into the age of the pouch, buying prefilled is definitely out of the question. So in comes Basics Best Reusable Pouches, to save the day! Now, for the record  I've used other pouches before, but Basics Best Reusable Pouches are by far the best. And of course I'll explain but first let me give you the details. These pouches are BPA, PVC, Lead, and Phthalate free. Freezer safe, recyclable, easy to clean, and holds 8oz! So they're great for older kids too. Though they are plain, and not much to look at, they're great quality.

So here's why I think Basics Best Reusable Pouches are great. The PLAIN shape for starters! No funny curves or corners a bottle brush can't reach, so cleaning it is a breeze. The opening is on the bottom which I thought would be a problem but it's not. The zipper is strong, and my son definitely gave it a beating and it didn't bust open. The opening is wide enough where it's easy to just spoon whatever in there without a problem. Plus the 8oz size is great, the prefilled pouches are half that size. They are durable for sure, I've had them for a while now, and they're just as sturdy as the first use. I wash them in very hot water and no warping whatsoever. They're not stiff, but these pouches aren't thin nor do they feel flimsy. And they're priced under 15 dollars for 4. Definitely a steal!

If you're into food pouches, and aren't happy with your current ones try these. If you're new to food pouches, Save yourself the trouble and try these. Either way, try these! Let me know if y'all like them as much as I do!

Fractionated Coconut Oil! Lovin It On My Hair!!

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOP7d4a4cee6c05267b941aab70aa7b2892" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
I love coconut oil for my hair, it's definitely a staple in my hair care regimen. Coconut oil does so much for your hair. It adds or maintains protein levels in hair, helps maintain moisture levels, conditions, fight dandruff, and so much more. It really is great for hair, and I add it to everything. From shampoo to my leave in. I mix it in my shampoo to combat the drying, and stripping affects of the shampoo. In my conditioner for added strength and moisture, shine, and slip. You can see where I'm going with this. Lol It really is literally in all my hair products.  My hair is fine, and dries out easily, on top of it being relaxed. So this is literally keeping my armpit length hair growing strong. But the downside to using coconut oil is that it's usually in a solid form when you go to use it. So then you're stuck having to warm it up before you mix it in whatever you're mixing it into. If you put it in a spray mix, then it sort of solidifies and sprays out crazy. So you can imagine how excited I was when I was given the opportunity to try Radha Beauty Fractionated Coconut Oil! All the benefits of coconut oil but in a permanent liquid form! Yasssss! It's light, doesn't stain, and is awesome for hair just like solid coconut oil but none of the hassle! Now I can just add it without having to warm the coconut oil up. Radha Beauty Fractionated Coconut Oil is the real deal. I even mixed it in my relaxer and it worked awesomely! My hair came out straight but not overly processed, no burns or anything. I'm in love with Radha Beauty Fractionated Coconut Oil, and I won't be going back! Give it a try, and tell me y'all thoughts!

Peppermint Oil, My New Hair Growth Secret!!

If there's one thing you should know about me is I'm obsessed with hair. Right now I'm in the grow it long and strong phase. So I'm always jumping on one band wagon or another as far as hair growth is concerned. Well peppermint oil isn't really jumping on a band wagon, it's more like riding an oldie but goodie. A tried and true if you will. I got the chance to try Adovia Mineral Skin Care GoPure Pure Peppermint Oil. And I'm thrilled that I did!      First let me give you a little info on peppermint oil. Peppermint is a hybrid mint, a cross between watermint and spearmint. The plant, indigenous to Europe and the Middle East. Peppermint Oil may help relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and indigestion, and soothe sore muscles, among other things. Now so far all I've tried it for is hair growth. And it's doing such a great job with that, that I'm sure it would do great in all the other areas too.       Now back to Adovia Mineral Skin Carr's Go Pure Pure Peppermint Oil. It comes in a nice Amber glass bottle with a dropper. I like that it comes in the appropriate bottle because nothing is worse than buying good oil in a clear bottle than you literally have to keep in the dark all the time so the sun won't ruin it. I like the dropper because you should ALWAYS dilute Pure Peppermint Oil in a carrier oil or water because it can cause irritation and/or a burn. Especially on sensitive skin. Also the 4 oz size is definitely a steal, and a little go a looonggggg way, so it'll definitely last forever.     The benefits for using pure peppermint oil as a hair growth aid are numerous. It can help relieve common hair concerns such as dry scalp, hair loss, hair growth, and much more. Peppermint oil also stimulates the hair follicle by increasing blood circulation and oxygen supply. Hair follicles and roots are able to grow at their full potential when there is a large supply of oxygen. So it really can help grow thinning hair, and that bad haircut you regretted as soon as that first piece of hair hit the floor.     So I've been using this for about a month now. I added it to my shampoo, conditioner, prepoo, deep conditioner, basically if it went in my hair it got a little peppermint oil added to it. I did everything normally. Shampoo twice a week, condition 3 times a week, deep condition once a week, the usual. I had a fresh relaxer when I started so I had no new growth whatsoever. Well now a month later my hair is already looking like I haven't relaxed my hair in about 12 weeks instead of 4 weeks. Yasssss!!!! My scalp feels great, and I love the tingle the oil gives my scalp. You can actually feel your follicles opening up. I have no flakes, and my scalp isn't dry and itchy. This is a staple I'll be keeping. And if you haven't tried it, give it a go! Let me know how it works for you! I highly recommend giving Adovia Mineral Skin Care GoPure Pure Peppermint Oil a try! It's a large 4 oz size, not the little bottle 1oz bottle I see in stores! *Disclaimer I received this product free to try, but ALL opinions are my own*

Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer, All Day Hydration, And Glowing Skin

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOP194cecb6f89b5f4f3417c8ed6592c2ad" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
One of my pet peeves is dry skin, especially dry skin on the face. You'd think that with all the moisturizers on the market, that such a thing would be a thing of the past. Sadly, it's not. Well for me it isn't. Let me not moisturize my face and I'll be dry, and peeling by brunch. Let me use the wrong moisturizer and I'll be dry and peeling by lunch. To me it's like fighting an unending battle. I keep the dryness at bay by moisturizing mid day. Oh, and did I mention that my skin is more like a combination? Well it is. My forehead and nose will shine brighter than a star! So I'm moisturizing, and blotting all day. And just imagine the hassle if I'm wearing make-up... don't worry I'll wait... are you imagining? So yea... You get the picture. Too much work, for me personally. So of course I'm always on the lookout for a new moisturizer.
So you know I was happy when I got the opportunity to try Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer! Retinol is officially my new thing. I'm totally into it, and the benefits are great. Just so you know, retinol is a form of vitamin A, and it can be found in various topical skin care products. Retinol of course treats wrinkles, clears acne, lightens discolorations, evens skin tone, and shrinks pores. Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer has 2.5% retinol in it. Which is the max. It also contains wildcrafted green tea, organic jojoba oil, vitamin E, vitamin B5 and shea butter. So it's definitely packed with some good stuff! The bottle is a nice 3.4oz size, and one squirt is enough to generously moisturize my face, and neck. So this bottle will last a long while, and you're definitely getting your money's worth!
Now what do I think about it. First when I looked at the package, I didn't expect much. It's not fancy or anything. Totally not what I expected. But, I knew I would like it as soon I pressed the nozzle and the creamy lotion came out. I love creamy lotion because of my dry face. So I was excited over that. There's no real smell, I love that. I hate facial moisturizers that smell like perfume. I just don't get the point. Anyway I applied it after washing, skipping the toning and serum applications because I wanted to see what this would do on it's own. I wasn't disappointed. This creamy lotion spreads nicely and feels luxurious. It took a moment to rub in, but it absorbed extremely well. My skin didn't feel like it was still dry, and my skin felt soft and smooth. It did leave a shine, but I wasn't too worried about that since my first time using it was at night. I woke up to soft, smooth, not shiny, bright looking skin. My dry areas were still moisturized! I couldn't help smiling at myself in the mirror. Yes girl, you literally woke up like this! Lol I was totally loving myself.
Fast forward to now, and I still dig this moisturizer. My skin tone is evening nicely. My skin is vibrant, and glowing. For as thick, and creamy as this lotion is my skin is clear, and I've only had the occasional odd mini pimple. Nothing serious. My hyperpigment marks, old acne scars are fading, and my skin is soft and smooth. During the day I apply it, let it soak in, then blot to avoid the shine. I apply my primer, and make-up and I'm good to go. My face stays moisturized ALL day. No drying up and peeling mid day anymore. My T zone doesn't get greasy from it, this one is so worth it!
Give it a try you might like Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer! Let me know if you do try it, and your thoughts!

La Deessa Peptide Eye Serum... The Secret To The Illusion Of A Full Nights Rest?

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOP408dc6b8bd4906e37530976d5b2b7009" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
The last of the La Deesa Serums I've tried is La Deessa Ageless Peptide Eye Serum. And like the others this serum doesn't disappoint. Peptides are proteins composed of long or short chains of amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein. And as you hopefully know amino acids are great for you skin.
This serum boasts that it will help restore skins structural integrity by thickening skin, and restoring elasticity. This serum claims that it evens skin tones and textures, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and reduces bags. Key ingredients include organic aloe, witch hazel, hyaluronic acid, advanced amino complex, jojoba oil, and vitamin E. This eye serum is literally chock full of good stuff.
Now here's my thoughts on it, I like it. I'll be honest, I can't speak for the wrinkles or line filling since I'm not there yet. But my bags are smaller and my under eye area isn't as dark. I think with further use it'll only get better. This serum is just right in consistency. Absorbs, easily and quickly. Doesn't have a smell, and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky. A half a pump covers both my eye areas adequately. So this bottle will definitely be around for awhile. La Deessa Ageless Peptide Eye Serum is priced under 30 dollars. So it's a steal. I use this serum with La Deessa's other serums and I'm absolutely in love with them. No complaints from me. So why not try it? La Deessa Serums are backed by a 100% money back guarantee!
*Disclaimer I received this product free to try in exchange for an honest review*
<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=BOTTOM408dc6b8bd4906e37530976d5b2b7009" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>

La Deessa Luminous Retinol Serum... Love it or hate it?

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOPa3b2827a6e35086fe48576d34fa23c7e" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
So far I'm loving it! Idk guys I think I'm just loving the whole serum movement. Lol Like, it's better than lotion. Of course you're supposed to moisturize after applying serums. But I've found that sometimes I can go without that step. Especially when I use La Deessa's Luminous Retinol Serum. My skin is glowing and I'm feeling lovely!
Seriously let me give you the run down on this retinol serum. This serum helps aging skin, help rebuild lost collagen, helps rebuild skin firmness, and elasticity. Helps diminish wrinkles in the eye area, the neck, and chest. It also helps firm sagging skin, moisturizes dry skin,  brightens dull skin. Fades age spots, discoloration, hyperpigmentation marks, and acne. I like to think of it as something like a miracle in a bottle. :-)
The ingredients are great: Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe (Barbadensis Leaf), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Pentylene Glycol, Phospholipids, Retinol, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Phosphate, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Triticum Vulgare (Wheat Germ Oil), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Organic Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea), Wildcrafted Resina Propoli (Propolis), Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin. There's lots of moisturizing ingredients in there. Which explains why I can go without using a moisturizer without my face is drying up and cracking like the Sahara desert.
Now here's my official thoughts. The glass bottle is nice, and 2 pumps is enough to cover my entire face and neck.  It doesn't have a smell. I love that, because who wants their face to smell like anything besides... Well face?! Lol It's not overly thick, but not watery. Spreads easily, and absorbs quickly. My skin is looking awesome if I must say so myself! My skin definitely is more brighter and more even. I'm looking wide awake when I'm nowhere near it and going make-up free is no problem. Yasssss! La Deessa Serums are awesome overall. This one most certainly disappointed! And they're priced under 30 dollars with a money back guarantee. You can't beat that with the quality you're getting. Seriously. Try it out, you'll love it!

La Deessa Youthful Vitamin C Anti-Aging Elixir... The Secret To Glowing Skin?

<a href="http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOPc08c414d3dcee35c5d465afebd54847a" rel="nofollow"><img style="display: none" src="http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png" /></a>
As y'all know if y'all read my previous blog post that I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to try La Deessa's line of face serums. And I'm so happy that I did! But first let me give you the details on La Deessa's Youthful 20% Vitamin C Anti-Aging Elixir (Serum)
This serum states that is stimulates collagen production, improves skin tone & texture, significantly reduces wrinkles, and hydrates skin. The vitamin C which is the star of the serum helps to improve firmness and elasticity, brightens skin, diminishes age spots and hyperpigmentation marks. Vitamin C also aids in repairing sun damage, protects skin from future damage and signs of aging.
The ingredients are Organic Herbal Infusion (Organic Gotu Kola, Organic Horsetail, Wildcrafted Dandelion and Wild Geranium), Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Carbomer, (2s)-2-Amino-5-guanidinopentanoic Acid, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin. As you can see it has some pretty great stuff in it. I'm very happy about that. To many times I've read that back if a bottle and majority of stuff in it it's chemicals.
So here's my thoughts on this serum. I'm seeing a big difference in my skin overall. My skin is more even-toned than its been in a long time. My pores are smaller and I have some pretty big pores. So that's saying a lot. My face is smoother, and looks brighter. I'm thrilled! And not to mention that the price is great, price point retail under $30! That's a major steal for the quality product that you're getting! The bottle is small but the dispenser is a dropper and all you need is few drops at a time. It absorbs quickly and easily, and doesn't have a smell. It's not greasy, so it doesn't leave that dreaded shine. I'm really liking this one a lot guys! It's the first thing I apply to my face after washing it, so it can get all that good stuff first and foremost. Lol Plus La Deessa Youthful 20% Vitamin C Anti-Aging Elixir has a 100% money back guarantee! I highly recommend it!

Adeline Anti-Aging Moisturizer, And My Refreshed Skin

Lately I've been trying Adeline's Anti-Aging Moisturizer With Matrixyl. Before I give my review, let me tell you about it.
Adeline's Anti-Aging Face Cream is formulated with 5 powerful ingredients that fight wrinkles and rejuvenate your skin:
Matrixyl: Anti Wrinkle Formula
Witch Hazel: Antibacterial, Antiseptic, Shrinks Blood Vessels, Promotes Healing,
Soothes Itching, Refreshed and Rejuvenates Skin
Hyaluronic Acid: Boosts Elasticity, Boosts Hydration, Makes skin look fuller
Vitamin C: Helps Replace Collagen, Fades Age Spots, And Discoloration
Vitamin E: Protects And Repairs Skin
So as you can see it's full of stuff that's great for your skin. And so far so good. I like it. This cream has a minty cooling effect to it that I enjoy, especially in the morning. It's not overly thick, yet it's not watery. Adeline's Anti-Aging Moisturizer spreads easily, and absorbs quickly. I found that it leaves my skin hydrated, but not shiny. Which is great. I use two pumps every time which I must admit, I'm a little sad about. The bottle isn't that big so I know I'll run through it fast. However, it's totally worth considering how much more clear my skin is, more even in texture and tone. I tried three of Adeline Beauty products so far and I am nothing but smiles!
If you haven't read my other reviews of Adeline's Hyaluronic Acid Serum, and their Organic Eye Serum check it out! Each product works great on it's own. But together it's a dream! Not to mention all of Adeline Beauty products are backed by there 100% Empty Bottle Guarantee!! So you really have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Adeline Organic Eye Serum, Does It Make It A Difference

I've been trying Adeline Skincare products for a little while now. I've tried their Hyaluronic Acid Serum first and I'm in love with that. It has truly made a difference in my skin. If you want to get the full review on that click here. Today, I want to talk about another product of theirs Adeline Organic Eye Serum.

First let me give you the details on it. This eye serum has in it the following natural ingredients to help you restore your youthful appearance:
Cucumber Extract: moisturizes your skin to diminish lines and wrinkles.
Chamomile Extract: soothes the skin around your eyes and reduces puffiness.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice: improves collagen production to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and crow's feet.
Sunflower seed oil: contains antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E to prevent free radical damage, and fatty acids to prevent premature aging and promote new cell growth.
Usa Urvi Leaf Extract: is a natural source of hydroquinone - reduces inflammation and the appearance of brown spots.
Now that you know what's in it, and what it does, here are my thoughts. I like it. It's a little thin, but absorbs quickly and thoroughly. I applied it at night as directed, and then applied my normal moisturizer. At first I didn't think it was really doing anything. I'm gonna keep it real with you on that. But, now my skin around my eyes is softer looking. Previously it was soft but didn't exactly look it. You know? It also looks brighter, which is great. I look like I get more sleep than I actually do. I have a 2 year old and 10 month old twins. So imagine how much sleep I really get. :-)  And my bags have already diminished enough for other people to notice and it's only been about 3 weeks. I stopped using it for a couple of nights just to see if it was all in my head. Okay, and sometimes just because I was too lazy, and I actually notice my skin starting to look duller, and my bags becoming more pronounced. I can say for sure it definitely makes a difference for me.
So I'm feeling real positive about this one guys. Definitely worth trying out, and they have a 100% "Empty Bottle Guarantee" eliminates all the risk! So you really have nothing to lose if you don't like it. But of course you will! Swing by and thank me later! :-)

My Thoughts on Adeline Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Have you ever heard of hyaluronic acid and all the wonderful things it can do for your skin? No? Well me either. But apparently it's a tried and true ingredient that's great for your skin. Normally I admit my skin is something I've paid little attention to besides the basic cleansing and occasional mud mask. But after giving birth to 3 children in the past 2 years my skin has been totally acting up. Not to mention I'm turning 30 and having something like a young life crisis. Is 30 to young to have a life crisis? Well anyway My facial skin could use some help, since my usual routine wasn't helping. I'm talking  blotchy dryness, combination skin, acne, and hyperpigmentation. You name it, and my face is going through it. Which is not how I want to look on my birthday.   So when I got the opportunity to try Adeline Hyaluronic Acid Serum for free and read all the claims I thought, well hell, why not? FYI: Hyaluronic Acid, also known as HA, is a natural compound found in skin that helps hold in moisture, aids in tissue repair, plumps skin, and aids in preventing wrinkles. The skin holds almost fifty percent of your body’s natural hyaluronic acid. As your skin ages you lose more  of it from your body, thus showing wrinkles, and other forms of skin damage.
Adeline Hyaluronic Acid Serum contains retinol, a blend of Vitamin A for elasticity, collagen formation, and sun damage repair, Vitamin C for improved moisture, elasticity, and tone, Vitamin D to moisturize skin and promote healing, and  Vitamin E for anti-oxidant protection.
The ingredients are Deionized Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Aloe Barbadensis Juice, Phenoxyethanol, Witch Hazel Extract, Acrylates/C 10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, MSM, Potassium Sorbate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium Hydroxide, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Lavender Oil, L-Arginine, Retinyl Palmitate, Cholecalciferol
Here's my thoughts on Adelines Hyaluronic Acid Serum so far. I like it! I really do! My skin tone has already started evening and my dark spots are already fading. I have a dry itchy patch of skin on my cheek, and though it's not gone all the way, the improvement is great! It's smaller, and it holds moisture better, and it has finally stopped peeling. My make-up sits better on my face now. My skin looks smoother, hydrated, fuller,  brighter and more even overall. I'm thrilled with the results so far!
I applied the serum after cleansing my face, and patting dry. I had to use about a 1 1/2 have pumps to cover my face and neck. It's not sticky, but not watery. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly. Just so you know I've been doing this twice a day. I've been using it for a few weeks and the bottle is still very full. So it'll surely last a while. After I let it absorb, which it does quickly, I apply my basic moisturizer, and I'm good to go.
Now, my moisturizer is nothing special to talk about, and honestly I'm just trying to finish the bottle. My face always felt dry after using it. But with Adeline's Hyaluronic Acid Serum, then my crappy moisturizer my skin felt and looked great! So I know for a fact that it's the serum that is changing my skin!
Overall I'm a believer and Adeline Beauty has definitely gained a fan in me! I say give it a try! Did I mention that they have a 100% "Empty Bottle Guarantee!"
Adeline Beauty stands behind their product 100%. So if you're not happy with the results, just return the bottle for a full refund, even if it's empty! So you literally nothing to lose and everything to gain!
Adeline Hyaluronic Acid Serum is worth giving a try! Check it out and let me know what you think! Also check back soon, I'll be posting my review of Adeline's other beauty products!

Here's A Few Things I'll Be Reviewing Soon!

I joined this site called Tomoson. If you haven't heard of it, let me give you some details. It's a site for companies to find select people to test their products in exchange for reviews. I say select because each company has certain criteria for you to meet. Such as a certain amount of Facebook or Twitter friends. They might only be looking for people in a certain demographic and such. You apply for the products you'd like to try, and then you're notified about whether you made the final cut or not. If you're picked you'll receive said product, try it, and leave a blog review, Amazon review, etc. A lot of fun if you're into social media, but if not this might not be your twist.
Anyways, I've applied for a few things, and have already been approved for some. How great is that?! So over the next few weeks I'll be reviewing the following:

Adeline
Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Organic Eye Serum
Anti-Aging Moisturizer

Body Merry
Pro-A Serum
Retinol Surge Moisturizer

Adovia Mineral Skin Care
Pure Peppermint Essential Oil

La Deessa
Youthful 20% Vitamin C Serum
Luminous 2.5% Retinol Serum
Ageless Peptide Eye Serum

As you can see all beauty products. But what girl doesn't like beauty products? I'm sure there are some but not that many. :-)
So ladies/gents because Guys deserve great forever young skin too I'll be putting these to the test! Stay Tuned!

Reese's Spreads My Unexpected New Love

As I sit sadly scraping out the last little bit of Reese’s Spread out of the container I cant help but think fondly on the times we shared. How it showed up on my doorstep in my VoxBox. How excited I was opening it. My munchie monster inside of me giggled with delight as I pulled it out of the box. Wait, are you stuck on the VoxBox part? What the he'll is that you might ask? Well, I had recently signed up with this awesome online community called Influenster. Its great, you leave reviews on things you’ve tried, and ask questions on things you haven’t tried. Occasionally you’ll have the opportunity to try new things for free. Which is what a voxbox is. Try it, give your opinion, and spread the word through social media! I was lucky enough to get picked to try Reese’s Spreads. Before I go on, yes I received this product free to try BUT ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN.
Now, back to the original topic. My new love, Reese’s Spreads. When I opened up my voxbox I was thrilled. I immediately ran to the kitchen, popped it open and dug in. I honestly didn't know what to think of it. I didn’t expect for it to taste exactly like a Reese’s cup. But it DOES. Not too chocolatey, and not too peanut buttery either. It’s more peanut butter taste, but that’s exactly how a Reese’s cup is too. The texture is a little gritty. But not in a bad way. Though I did expect it to be smooth. And it may take some getting used too. I assume that the peanut butter makes it like that?
I also tried it with pretzels which is the best. To me its like a crunchy salty sweet peanut butter bar type of taste going. Awesome! Great with apples, bananas, I put a dallop in my hot chocolate which was nice. I wanted to try it on bacon but I never got around to getting the bacon. Lol Ah well, this container is gone. Without realizing it, I’ve gotten hooked. Apples with it make me feel like I’m still being healthy :-) So I’ve been having it as a late night snack like that most of the time…. I already have plans to go to the store and snag a container tomorrow.
Bottom line is this, if you love Reese’s Cups give Reese’s Spread a try. You won’t be disappointed! Tastes great virtually on everything. Check out the pins on Pinterest. There’s something like a craze going on with it. Don’t be left out! Go ahead, try Reese’s Spreads. It's under 4 bucks so it won't hurt your pocket. Plus the jar does last a little while.
DISCLAIMER: Just in case you missed it, I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

Something Like A Product Junkie

Like the title says, I'm something like a product junkie. It's something that most are ashamed of. But nope, not me. I am a proud product junkie. :-) I'm particularly addicted to hair products. Like, really you can never have to many hair products. Same can be said about makeup too. Lol I could keep going because hey, most females feel this way about many things. No need to keep naming things that you can't have too many of. You totally get my drift.
With that being said, I try a lot of things. But before I purchase anything with my fiance's hard earned cash, I read reviews. Nothing gives you more insight into a product than an honest, down to earth review. Too many times you're led to reviews on things that seem too good to be true. Some seem fake and vague. Offering a lot of words and not enough actual information. That's what I don't like. That's what I want to be the opposite of. I want to give you the honest truth. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
So I'll be posting reviews of things I've tried. Sometimes the things I will be trying is free. I of course will let you know this. And for the record, ALL opinions are my OWN. Doesn't matter if I received a product for free or not. I'll be giving you the pros, and cons. Giving you the information you need to decide if the product is right for you. :-)
